Belt Item Number: 2623/13 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Unbroken band of woven dark brown and undyed grass fibres, producing a thin, interlocking zigzag pattern.

History Of Use

This is a child's belt. Tapa cloth was brought up under the belt and pulled over the top. It is likely that thin ones (like this one) were made for boys, and thick ones were for girls.
