Description
Triangular sail from model canoe composed of woven leaf supported by two lengths of wood that have been bound to the sail with plant fibre string.
Narrative
This sail (part b) was the original said for the model canoe C929 a. It was removed in 2002 by conservation for repairs, but found to be too badly damaged for exhibition purposes. A new 'prop' sail was made and attached for the 2003 exhibition "Pasifika."
