Artifact Record #108 in the Field Notebook #1 reads "Sq. 3S3, surf d. 3rd level ("3rd" written in pen over original pencil)" No depth or provenience given, instead written is "square and depth are a guess, no measurments." In remarks, "Found on path beside pit. This is the probable pit and layer." Excavated by Warren 7/7/1953. 05/17/2011 I. Ostericher
