It is made from a bladder, and has an inflation nozzle made from bone or antler attached to an opening at one end with a wrapping of sinew. Inserted into an opening in the nozzle is a stopper made from wood with a rounded head and a shaft that tapers towards one end. This float appears to have been stuffed with grass, perhaps to help hold its shape.
