Description

Large bear helmet. The ears are carved in relief and are wide at the bottom, tapering to a sharp point at the top. The eyes are wide-set, and are carved in relief. The snout protrudes straight out from between the eyes to a slightly defined nose-tip. The mouth is open wide and has a top and bottom row of teeth carved in relief. The bottom row of teeth on the left side has one protruding fang, while on the right side there is a small hole, possibly indicated a missing fang. Fibre rope is attached to the sides of the mask above the ears and attaches around the back of the head.
