Description

Cylindrical whistle made of two pieces of wood that tapers at one end to a mouthpiece for a whistle and at the other to a narrower round end; mouthpiece has one hole in end and one hole in diagonal cutout from one side. Three bands of coiled cord go around circumference: one just below the diagonal cutout and one at each end. The coils are wrapped around cutout areas so that they are flush with the overall surface. Resin is rubbed into fibre coils and along joins of the two pieces of wood; paper is adhered to resin along joins.
