Mask Item Number: 864/5 a-b from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

The mask (part a) is a wood face with large circle eyes outlined with turquoise and a small hole cut out in between them and the long nose which protrudes outward and has a curled piece on top of it with three black circles on each side. The red mouth has one lip pointing upward and the other lip pointing downward and has white teeth painted on it. The ears are large with a spiral design and have two curved protrusions, one of which is part b. There is a basketry hat on top of the mask.
