Description
Long rectangular book with dark brown wooden cover held together by a piece of string that is strung through the pages, is wound around one end, and is secured by a coin attached to a string. Pages inside are made of palm leaf and are covered with light black Sinhala script.
History Of Use
The wood boards on either side likely served to protect the palm leaf pages.
