Phulkari style hat panels. Two halves (parts a-b) of a hat, or cap, embroidered in a red scallop design and a yellow, white, and black abstract design; all on a purple ground. Darning-stitch and chain-stitch. Reverse is plain cotton.
Muslim skull cap worn by men. Based on the style, it is thought to have originated from the northernmost parts of India (or possibly Balochistan, or Pakhtunkhwa in Pakistan?).
