Description

Lantern with two central posts connecting two red-painted wooden discs from which one has a inward protruding metal tube. Seven arched spines go from top to bottom disc and around these spines is attached a gauze fabric. Fabric is painted in four sections with central floral designs. Three lines are around top and bottom in orange, white, and red from centre to edge. The spines are painted red where there is no fabric covering them. A shiny lacquer covers the fabric. End discs have metal loops protruding from them: one on one end and two on the other. End with the single loop has red string loop through it; end with two loops has a connecting metal wire from which a loop of white fabric tape hangs.
