A dark wood ladle with a standing figure for the handle. There is fibre string wrapped around his neck. His hands are resting on his hips. The bowl of the ladle is rectangular around the edges and then tapers into a more rounded and circular shape.
Ladle, made from a special wood called atitoè, used by priestesses of a convent to serve traditional dough. The spoon is also used by women unable to conceive. Prolonged use of the ladle, along with other products, allows women to have a child.
