Plate Fragment, Earthenware Item Number: 45KI765/P14Jd-7 from the The Burke: University of Washington
AMEC Analysis: Part: Rim Vessel Form: Platter Paste: Hotel ware Decoration Type: Hand Painted Comments: This piece has cement adhered to one side and is decorated with a floral / geometric relief. One white plate fragment from a square plate. Appears to be earthenware, although paste is obscured by discoloration from matrix. Green or tan geometric decoration around plate's rim is very regular, probably transfer printed. Same pattern and shape as P14-5. Large cement accretion on exterior corner does not seem to effect the object's condition. L. Penttila 2/8/2010
