AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Date Range: 1901 to 1920 Neck Finish: Lipping Tool Decoration: Embossed Comments: Embossed with "viii" One clear glass medical bottle with bead finish. Base is similar to plain oval and monarch or erie oval bases with three curved sides and one straight side connected with rounded corners. Mold seams include: circular cup-bottom mold seam, two side mold seams extending up to within approximately 1" of the finish. Embossing on top of one side reads: "3viii". Maker's Mark on base reads: "M.B.W. CO". Made by Western Bottle Manufacturing Company in Chicago, IL. Dried sediment present on the inside of bottle. Iridescence and pen mark on the outside of bottle. There are a few bubbles present in the glass. J. Dougherty 03/19/2010
