AMEC Analysis: Part: Whole Date Range: 1870-1920 Decoration: Paper Comments: The decal is still present around the neck. One brown whiskey bottle with round base and finish similar to that of straight brandy or wine finish, though with a taller and more flared bottom ring. No seams or molds visible. Concentric horizontal rings present on body are indicative of turn-molded manufacture. Partially intact seal covering part of neck and finish Previous sealing material likely made of tin. Seal reads: HOUSE OF LORDS SCOTCH WHISKEY Dried substance and abrasions present on outside of bottle. J. Dougherty 02/22/2010
