Metal Fragment, Iron Item Number: 45KI765/P9-24 from the The Burke: University of Washington
AMEC Analysis: Comments: This is a heavily corroded piece of metal 6 inches in length and 7/8 inches wide. It may have functioned as a handle or a detail piece. One iron fragment, possibly a handle. Significantly corroded on exterior surface resulting in loss of material along length. Interior surface is corroded and has red , brown, black and grey accretions and discolorations. Large accretion has obscured the measurements and details of one end, approximately .5" beyond original object. L. Penttila 3/1/2010
