Description

An oblong, multi-coloured, tightly woven basket bag with four braided straps that have been tied together at the ends. The base colour of the bag is the yellow-white of the undyed cabuya fibre. The bag has been decorated with a rectangular checkerboard pattern. The checkerboard pattern has been woven with the colours purple, blue-black, yellow, pink, green, dark orange, and grey. These coloured rectangles alternate with rectangles of yellow-white undyed cabuya. The edge of the bag, at the opening, is decorated with yellow and purple stripes. The bottom of the bag contains a circle composed of pink and blue-black stripes. The straps are composed of undyed cabuya strands, as well as green and grey strands.
