Description

A rounded, multi-coloured, tightly woven basket bag with four braided straps. The bag has been decorated with four vertical, overlapping columns of stacked, multi-coloured lozenge shapes. The braided straps are different colours. Two of them have been braided with dark purple and undyed strands of cabuya fibre, with bits of orange. One strap has been braided with dark orange and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. The fourth strap has been braided with light orange, dark orange, and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. The straps are thicker at the base, where they attach to the basket, and they all taper to thin ends.
