Description

An oblong, multi-coloured, tightly woven basket bag with four braided straps. The base yellow-white colour of the undyed cabuya fibre has been decorated with four vertical columns of angular, hand-like shapes that are each composed of five horizontal stripes. The inner and outer prongs/stripes are positioned on a diagonal and the three prongs/stripes in the middle are straight. The straps have unique colour schemes. One strap has been braided with black and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. One strap has been braided with yellow and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. One strand has been braided with pink and undyed strands of cabuya fibre. The last strap has been braided with orange and undyed strands of cabuya fibre.
