Embroidered Panel Item Number: 2846/5 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
Description
Long thin rectangular hanging of rust coloured silk, with embroidery and couching on lower portion. The embroidery is a scene with a boy on a dragon and a girl on a phoenix, as well as flowers, plants, waves, and buildings. Colours used are white, gold, green, blue, light green, light blue, yellow and purple, with gold thread couching in some areas. On the rear bottom left corner is a printed inscription in Chinese characters, and a piece of tape(?) with printed Chinese characters.

Probably the front panel for a woman's skirt.
