Drawing Item Number: 2811/103 from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Children's drawing on legal size off-white paper. An inscription in the upper left corner reads "Dibujo del Rio lempa" and below this the words "le save" have been written. A blue band has been drawn from the upper right to the left side of the page, representing a river. There are six human stick figures in the river. Above the river, a house burns as a green helicopter flies along the bank of the river. There is a line of four figures with objects on their heads that appear to be walking towards the river. An orange and green figure near the left side of the page appears to be shooting a gun at the line of human figures. Two figures hold a line across the river. Below the river, the line of figures with objects on their heads seems to continue as six of them walk along a path that heads towards the bottom of the page. The word "honduraras" and the name "Paco Rivera" have been written below the river. There is some faint, partially erased writing and drawing on the back of the page.
