Description

Children's drawing on legal size off-white paper. An inscription in blue ink, located in the upper left corner, reads "martes 18 de octubre del 83 - estudios sociales tema Dibujo". The word "Dibujo" has been underlined. There is another inscription in pencil to the right which reads "Rio Lempa como". The scene at the top of the page has been vertically labelled "El salvador" and consists of three brown helicopters and a brown plane shooting at human figures near a blue river. Eight human figures are lined up above the river, and there are three figures in the river itself. A path containing two green trees and three human figures leads downwards and to the right of the river. There are also two human figures up in the trees. Three human figures with guns have been drawn below the path and they are shooting at the figures on the path. The scene in the middle of the composition has been vertically labelled "Honduras" and consists of three small buildings, two purple trucks, and eleven human figures. Seven of these figures are standing with guns on the tops of the trucks. The bottom scene of the composition has been vertically labelled "Honduras" and it contains one purple truck with three armed human figures, one brown helicopter, and a brown path containing three green figures and a green tree. It appears as though the three green figures are shooting at the helicopter.
