Description

A wood lacquer box with lid (parts a-b), filled with writing equipment (parts c-o). The exterior design consists of bamboo in two shades of gold on a black background. The interior design consists of bamboo in two shades on powdered black and gold background. Includes ink and a rectangular stamp with a swirled dots design (part g). Two brushes (parts h-i) with lids (parts j-k) are inside with one brush (part h) having gold and black foil wrapped around the end while the other brush (part i) has silver and red foil wrapped around the end. There are two thin rectangular compartments (parts d-e), one at either side. The ink well stone (part f) fits in the centre of a frame (part c), which also has a fitted place at the top for two silver water pots, one (part n) of which has a fitted tray (part l) and a shaped ring (part m) around it. The silver water pot (part n) with the fitted tray (part l) and the shaped ring (part m) around it has the shape of a cloud. The other silver water pot (part o) has the shape of a leaf.
