Tool with bill-hooked (nearly S-shaped) iron blade with a long, four-sided shaft, a cylindrical wooden handle that flares slightly at the butt end, and a strip of flattened wire wound around the top of the handle.

Used to clear grass and bush, and to prune plantains among the related tribes of southern Uganda.
