Coin Box Item Number: Ef188 a-b from the MOA: University of British Columbia

Description

Basket (part a) and basket base (part b) resembling the shape of a duck. The basket (part a) or the body of the duck-shape, has one end that is wide and round. This then angles inwards and tapers to a narrow point. From this point, the basket widens and resembles a duck's large tail feather. At the widest part of the body, the basket rises with coils to a large purple coiled knob with two coiled triangular shapes protruding from one side. The basket base (part b) fits on the underside of the body and is tear-drop shaped. It has a coiled perimeter, but the centre consists of long stripes of stem that come together in the middle and are slightly twisted. There are four sections of purple stem amongst the natural stem portions.
