Model pot with lid (B608 b). Pot tapers near the bottom, widens at the centre, and tapers near the top creating a rounded lip. The pot is red, possibly from being dipped in red clay slip. The pot has a rounded bottom.

History Of Use

It is used for boiling or preparing rice. Rice beer is also prepared in this type of pot (called chukka; the large size is called charco).
