Beater Item Number: C1043 from the MOA: University of British Columbia
A wood squared beater with longitudinal reeded incised grooves on all four sides and terminated by a horizontal band of lozenges around the middle. The small rounded cylindrical handle tapers to a rounded end. While the top of each side angles toward the centre, creating four triangles forming a point, the top has a more rounded shape to it.
For beating bark for tapa cloth.
