Description
Brown wood carving of a boy holding a bird, which has been treed by a leopard. Metal wire around the boy's neck. Leopard, bird, and boy's hat are decorated with black dots. The mouth of leopard is red. Oval, flat base.
Narrative
These pieces were in the collection of the Arch Bishop of Nairobi, circa 1945.

An early example of Kamba tourist art.
