Description

A hanging scroll painting of a rural scene with high mountains in the far distance, and houses, and hills in the background. In the middle ground, there are more houses, trees, and a granary with workers grinding grain and stacking it on an ox. A river is flowing under the granary into the foreground. The painting has a cream-coloured border of patterned fabric with blue-grey patterned fabric at the top and at the bottom. There is a semi-cylindrical rod at the top with a brown string attached by metal wire. There is a cylindrical rod weight at the bottom covered with a multi-toned blue patterned fabric.
