Description

Four figures in a canoe (a). The standing figure at the front (b) is holding a paddle to his left that extends just slightly past the base under his feet, and the other standing figure at the back (c) is holding a paddle to his left that extends down past the top of the canoe's hull. The standing figures each have a peg extending down from the bottom of their bases, and these pegs fit into holes at the front and back of the canoe. There is an extra small hole beside the larger hole at the back of the canoe. There are two kneeling figures inside the canoe (d and e). The figures are stained ? dark brown, and the canoe is brown on both sides with an incised geometric design mainly consisting of two rows of alternating solid brown squares and squares filled with horizontal lines separated by a thin horizontal zigzag band.
