Description

Mat in a shield shape made of black and natural rattan to form a geometric design that consists of two vertical bands of a plain zig zag on a black background with a plain cross or star shape in each black space. Above, in the pointed end, the design pattern consists of alternating squares that have lines within which are perpendicular to those of the squares next to them. Painted end has a red cloth along the diagonal sides that converge to a point. Yellow, red, white, and black beads along with six tassels of the same connected by shell rosettes or a coin decorate the red cloth.
