Description

Teapot made of silver with repousse floral and geometric design. The base (a) of the teapot consists of two hemispheres soldered together, and a cylindrical neck with a flaring mouth that emerges from the top centre of the body. The spout is cylindrical at the base and has a skinny, cylindrical neck. The dome-shaped lid (b) has a spherical finial with a chain attached. A stopper consisting of a cylinder with a flower-shaped cap and a loop emerging from the top fits into the spout and is attached to the other end of the chain.
