Description
Pencil drawing of a bird in flight holding a whale in its talons. Bird has an extended tongue. Both whale and bird are covered with curvilinear and geometric designs that resemble elements of Northwest Coast style. Red numeral two and "No2" inscribed in upper left corner.
Narrative
Created by a student at the Alberni Residential School in the late 1930s. The school was located near the Tseshaht reserve, Tsahaheh 1, about 4 kilometres north of Port Alberni.
