Narrative

Purchased in 1952 from a dealer in Macao by Dr. Ping-ti Ho of the UBC Asian Studies Dept. Originally said to be made by Hsi Kang, but now thought to be a reproduction. The poem written at the top dates to the Qing dynasty; the date of the painting itself is uncertain.
