Description
Necklace with six strands of opaque orange and white glass beads with larger red and blue translucent glass beads to the sides and a length of braided grey cord at each end. Intersperced with three large oval silver beads that have three low relief squares with a floral motif at the centre of each. Each oval silver bead has a border of circles and small bosses.
Cultural Context
Worn only by women whose husbands have the wealth to purchase such items. Worth one large male goat.
