Description

A model totem pole (part a) depicting a man with a seal and a thunderbird (from bottom to top). The man's black eyes are surrounded by a mint green area with black brows above, a red mouth, a black moustache, and a red line on each cheek that has "spikes" along the upper side. He is painted wearing a bright red upper garment and a blue lower garment. The seal that he is holding has its black eyes surrounded by a mint green area outlined with red with black brows above. The seal's nose and mouth are red. The seal's body is painted with a mint green, red, and black decoration. The thunderbird's black eyes are surrounded by a mint green area with black brows above and a red lined beak. The detachable upswept wings (parts b-c) each have five feather sections painted dark green and red outlined with black. The chest has a face with its black eyes surrounded by a mint green area and a red mouth.
