Description
Scoop or shovel-shaped basket, woven with natural coloured grass. One side curves upwards and the other side widens to a flattened edge. The perimeter of the entire tray is lined with a thick piece of bamboo that is secured by eleven sections of stitched grass.
History Of Use
Winnowing rice models are sometimes used as toys to teach children how to use them. Original would be upt to six times larger (collector's notes).
