Multi-coloured strands of beads joined at intervals by larger, painted, spherical beads.
Narrative
According to Bevan Cross, the original string of trade beads was broken during a fight, after a buffalo hunt so someone named Mr. Paterson picked up the beads and his wife strung them into this pattern with smaller beads in between.
