Description
Ivory initials attached to a carved stick by a fibre cord and copper wire. Both items are carved. Stick is hollow in the centre and is carved in a spiral. One end of the stick is made into a fist. Inscription on the stick reads: "1901 St. Helena." Inscription on the ivory seal reads: "O.V.S."
Narrative
Assumed to be from the island of Saint Helena given the inscription; use uncertain.
