Description

Ink pad container: a) brass container base with an ink pad blackened with ink inside; b) a brass lid with two lions, a ball with two ribbon-like protrusions, as well as two Chinese characters engraved on the top, and a glass disc inside the lid held in place with a thin metal ring.

Ink container used to hold pads (n1.56), which are then saturated with liquid ink from accompanying bottle.
