Description
Wide, heavy gold band with dogfish design in relief. The design is bilaterally symmetrical with the exception of the tail for which only the right side is shown overlapping the left side of the body. Artist insription inside band: 'Reid 74.'
Narrative
Two dogfish rings were made by Reid -- one for Frank Perry and one for Claude Levi Strauss. Perry's ring was loaned to the Museum in 1986 for inclusion in the exhibition "Beyond the Essential Form".
