Description

A brown wooden figure of a male with small breasts and a phallus. The crescent-shaped eyes have brows above. Has a nose and a small mouth. Carved with four upraised vertical bars on each cheek. Has large ears. Hair is in angled sections with linear grooves. The front of the neck has a bulge with an upraised carved grid rectangular pattern at either side and at the back. The arms are slightly bent at the sides. Standing on a base.

History Of Use

Blolo bian; protective spirit, or 'other-world' companion. They represent a person's lovers left behind in the spirit world, who communicate with their companion through dreams.
