Description

Figure representing the Hedjet, or white crown of Upper Egypt. The crown tapers towards a bulbous tip and has a projection at the back near the top through which is pierced a hole from side to side. The crown has slight rounded projections on either side of the bottom and a rounded projection at the back of the neck.

Cultural Context

Probably amulet. It is written that queens were "joined to the beautiful white crown".
