Description
Wooden frame snowshoes with two crossbars, rawhide latticework and straps; both curve upwards slightly at the front.
Narrative
Noted as having been collected c. 1912, in the interior of BC. However in 1984 a researcher said they appeared to be Huron in style? (ref: Davidson "Snowshoes" 1937, p.91, fig 43b).
