Description
Ceremonial mask with extended tongue, wide slightly protruding eyes, large rounded nose, bordered with four small similar faces. Cedar bark and feather fringe behind head. Painted in colours of white, green, blue, yellow, black and red.
Narrative
According to Edward Meade, he purchased masks A8546-47 from the wife of Ben Jack, who was the grandson of Captain Jack of Friendly Cove.
