Description

Miniature totem pole with three main figures and a flat, uncarved back; mounted on a circular cross section of a branch with bark attached. From bottom to top, figure are: a bear-like animal holding a green zoomorphic figure, a zoomorphic figure holding a human figure and a bird with a face on its chest. Painted with black, green, brown, blue and red. Inscription on reverse.

Narrative

This pole bears significant stylistic resemblance to model pole Nb11.370 and to model pole 2016-123/22 at the Burke Museum, indicating a possibility that all three poles were made by the same artist.
