Description

Wooden figure of a duntsik or power board used in winter dances. The design is cutout with Northwest Coast stylized forms and outlined in black and white paint. The image represented is a sisiutl with its curled horns protruding from the top. The board has numerous rectangular pieces silver coloured foil adhered to the surface.

Represents double-headed serpent, Sisiutl, treasure, dlugwe', of Tuxwit dancer.
