Description

Grey clay figure, oval in shape with an orange slip. Depicted is a head with incised eyes and eyebrows along with a line that runs along the top of the head highlighting the headdress. The figure has a protruding nose, mouth and chin which are word and indistinguishable. The remnants of the headdress are undecorated and tall. The back is slightly concaved. Fragment of a larger object.

Series of fragments unearthed in Mexico. Duplicates were granted transportation to Canada in 1971. Collected by H. L. Patrick.
