Description

Grey clay figure, rectangular in shape with traces of an orange, slip. Depicted is a head with incised eyes and eyebrows wearing the remnants of a tall headdress. The top part of the figure is flat while the bottom nose, mouth and chin are protruding. The headdress is rounded in two parts with a line down the middle. The detailing of the mouth and nose are worn. Back is flat. Fragment of a larger object.

Series of fragments unearthed in Mexico. Duplicates were granted transportation to Canada in 1971. Collected by H. L. Patrick.
