Description

Grey clay figure with a red slip. Depicted is a head with an incised eye and other detailing. The face is circular in shape with an incised line dividing it from the cylindrical neck and fragmented chest. The nose and mouth are protruding; mouth appears open. The figure is worn and oddly shaped making it difficult to distinguish. Back is flat. Fragment of a larger object.

Series of fragments unearthed in Mexico. Duplicates were granted transportation to Canada in 1971. Collected by H. L. Patrick.
