Description

Grey clay figure with a red, grainy slip. The figure consists of a head with worn incised mouth and earplugs. The majority of the facial features are indistinguishable due to wear. The figure has hair or is wearing a headdress that comes down on the sides meeting the earplugs. The back is flat. Fragment of a larger object.

Series of fragments unearthed in Mexico. Duplicates were granted transportation to Canada in 1971. Collected by H. L. Patrick.
